Hi, I'm Cassidy and
I’m a wedding, elopement, destination, and portrait photographer based in West Texas. My passion for photography began in middle school with DIY photoshoots, and it evolved into a career that lets me preserve the small, intimate details of life. I fell in love with weddings and elopements because they allow me to capture raw, unfiltered moments—those memories you want to hold onto forever.
I’ve lived in many places, from South Florida, surrounded by diverse cultures, to the vibrant landscapes near Washington, D.C. I’ve been drawn to the beauty of different settings, whether they’re oceans, mountains, or deserts, and I carry that appreciation into the photos I take. Seeing the world through my lens is emotional for me—sometimes to the point of tears. I believe in documenting life’s milestones in the most authentic, heartfelt way.
Outside of photography, I’m passionate about connection. Whether it's helping friends or creating lasting relationships with clients, I believe in showing up for others. You’ll likely find me traveling, hiking, or spending time with my pets—Goose, Fish, and Rajah—when I’m not behind the camera.
My goal is to deliver galleries that exceed expectations
allowing you to relive the emotions of your most special moments. Whether it’s your wedding day, a family milestone, or a personal celebration, I hope to be more than just your photographer—I want to be someone who helps tell your story, one meaningful image at a time.

BEHIND the name
Amber Hour Photography is a nod to the magic of “Golden Hour,” that fleeting moment when the sun casts its warmest glow. It’s my favorite time to shoot, capturing the softness and intimacy that golden light brings. I also wanted to add something personal—my middle name, Amber—because for me, photography is not just about timing but about creating moments that feel warm, personal, and everlasting.
